Short Statement: The annual burden hours show a decrease over those presented in the previous extension. The FBI transitioned to a NIBRS-only data collection on January 1, 2021. Therefore, SRS agencies are no longer permitted to submit new hate crime incidents, but only updates to those from prior years.
