Short Statement: ED is proposing changes to the GEER Fund application so that it will meet the requirements of Section 312 of the CRRSA Act. The EANS program awards funds to Governor’s to provide services or assistance to eligible non-public elementary and secondary schools under the EANS program. The proposed changes include adding assurances for the services provided to non-public schools and the removal of a section of the application that is not required by the CRRSA Act. The changes will result in a reduction of burden from 2.5 hours per respondent to 1 hour per respondent for a total reduction of 78 burden hours.
