Abstract:
This information collection request is for a revision to the currently approved information collection. The purpose of this information collection is to develop a system to facilitate shorter, quick-turnaround studies in FNS's Special Nutrition Programs (SNP). This collection is necessary to collect and analyze specific information from State and local administrators of the Special Nutrition Programs in a timely way.

Short Statement:
This information collection is currently approved with 34,523 burden hours and 250,745 responses over the three-year approval period. With this revision, FNS has added advance notifications, recruitment e-mails, and an extra e-mail reminder. These additions have added 9,124 hours and 111,512 responses due to a program change. Adjustments have also been made due to revisions in sample sizes, response rates, program groupings, and estimated completion times. These revisions have reduced the burden by 1,113 hours due to an adjustment. Overall, the burden for this generic will increase by 8,011 burden hours and 111,512 response over the three-year approval period. With this revision, FNS estimates that this collection will have 42,534 hours and 362,257 responses.
