Short Statement: The USCG received 262 additional requests. It takes the bridge owner approximately one hour to generate a request to the Coast Guard to change the operating schedule of a bridge. The estimated burden is based on the length of time necessary to prepare an email/letter with the information required for the requested change and its submittal to the District Bridge Administrator. The reporting and recordkeeping requirements and the methodology for calculating burden remain unchanged.
