This collection is being revised to include additional questions for visa applicants. As a result of these additions, the Department is increasing its burden estimate by 35 minutes to accommodate the additional time a visa applicant will spend completing the collection. The additional information could reasonably lead to information about whether the applicant is eligible for a visa, including resolving the identity of an applicant.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
