Abstract:
This collection is necessary to provide incident and case management data on problematic sexual behavior between children and youth as required by the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 (Public Law 115-232), Section 1089, Policy on Response to Juvenile on Juvenile Problematic Sexual Behavior Committed on Military Installations.
Emergency Justfication:
As part of the Department of Defense (DoD) ongoing efforts to close gaps in comprehensively addressing PSB-CY, this collection implements provisions of Section 1089 of Public Law 115-232, Policy on Response to Juvenile-on-Juvenile Problematic Sexual Behavior Committed on Military Installations. The provisions in Section 1089 require the establishment of a centralized database to track timely and well-coordinated service delivery to children, youth, and families and is part of a multi-pronged response to PSB-CY occurring on DoD installations. This information collection guards against disrupted and fragmented service delivery to children and families impacted by PSB-CY, especially as children and youth return to schools, child development centers, and after school programs.
