Short Statement: The estimated total annual burden for the FR 3036 is 1,155 hours, and would increase to 1,365 hours with the revisions. The estimated average hours per response increased from 55 to 65 hours with the addition of the Settlement of Foreign Exchange Transactions table, resulting in an increase of 210 annual burden hours. Reporting dealers use separate systems for trading versus settlement, and settlement systems group together trades; a slightly higher burden is estimated to result.
