Short Statement: This revision incorporates the requirements of 2 C.F.R. part 25, and 2 C.F.R. part 170, requiring all entities currently conducting or seeking to do business with the federal government must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) registered in GSA’s System of Award Management. Collection of the UEI is vital to HUD’s compliance with the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (FFATA) and Digital Accountability and Transparency Act of 2014.
