Abstract:
Section 10.6(d) of Treasury Department Circular No. 230, Regulations Governing the Practice of Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, Enrolled Agents, Enrolled Actuaries and Appraisers before the Internal Revenue Service (31 CFR Part 10), requires that those who are enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service renew such enrollment periodically. Form 8554 is an application for renewal mailed to all enrolled agents each year. Form 8554-EP is used to renew your Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) status.
