Short Statement:
FSA is conducting this revision due to Executive Order 14058 issued by the White House, that tasked the Secretary of Agriculture with simplifying the direct loan application process. In doing so, this collection was also affected. Overall, the burden hours increased by 235 hours while the annual responses have increased by 470. The reason for the increase is due to an increase of the number of borrowers who utilize the revised FSA–2060 to request servicing actions. Due to Executive Order 14058, the Secretary of Agriculture tasked FSA with simplifying the direct loan application process that impacted on this collection for the form FSA-2060.
