Short Statement:
This is a revision request to the currently approved ICR (OMB#0920-1286) for RPE. The purpose of this request is to seek an additional year of OMB approval and approval of proposed modifications and reformatting of questions, instructions, and forms in the data system. The requested changes mostly include modifications to question formats and text, as well as added instructions to clarify the information respondents should provide in response to a question. In addition, a few questions were added or deleted/collapsed to improve their relevance to the recipients’ prevention work and to capture data accurately. The RPE Program is continuing to use the online data system, DVP Partners Portal, with requested changes informed by the first few years of experience in data collection. Changes included in this request were identified through recipients’ and CDC program officers’ feedbacks on the data elements and analysis of initial data collected through this data system. The proposed changes will improve the clarity and accuracy of the questions, answer options, and instructions, which in turn will improve the quality of data reported. In addition, the formatting and text changes will improve user experience and alignment to RPE recipients’ work and approach.
