Short Statement: We have increased the number of PO respondents from 134 to 145 for our currently approved requirements and removed provisions with burden that no longer applies. 112,708 is the corrected number of currently approved responses. The actual figure that was approved in OMB’s December 10, 2020, Notice of Action is 78,219 total responses, but that figure is not supported or explained in the active package or Supporting Statement. This 2022 iteration corrects that baseline by plus 34,489 responses (112,708 corrected responses - 78,219 currently approved responses). In this regard, the 2022 change should be 8,699 responses but, when considering the error and our effort to correct, the change is plus 43,188 responses (34,489 responses + 8,699 responses). We also adjusted our burden estimates for all provisions according to current BLS wage figures since the OMB approval in December 2020.
