Abstract:
This information collection is necessary to determine whether an organization meets the regulatory and relevant case law requirements for recognition by EOIR's Office of Legal Access Programs as a legal service provider, which would then allow it to seek full or partial accreditation for its representative(s) to practice before EOIR and/or the Department of Homeland Security.

The burden increased on account of an increase in the number of applications received. The annual time burden was adjusted to account for the different burdens for initial applications (2 hours to complete the application) and renewal applications (7 hours to complete the application).

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
