Abstract:
The enterprise Military Housing System (eMH) is used by the Department of Defense (DoD) to efficiently provide housing services to American service members and their families throughout the world. To provide these services, eMH must collect data needed to satisfy the required provision of relocation assistance to service members and their families. This collected data also supports requirements for information on housing costs/availability and home finding services for entitlements.

Burden decreases because of Program Change due to Agency Discretion:
Yes
Burden Reduction Due to:
Miscellaneous Actions
Short Statement:
The burden has reduced since the last reporting due to decreases in estimated number of respondents as well as a reassessment of their estimated average hourly wages, which have been lowered. The ICR will show that burden has increased for the HOMES.mil information collection, but this is only because the phone and non-phone collections were combined into a single IC, instead of being separate as they were before. The separate Phone Responses IC was removed as it is now included in the Homes.mil Property Listing IC.
Annual Cost to Federal Government:
$784,775
