Short Statement: The burden has increased since the previous approval due to a general increase in the number of visitors as well as much improved recordkeeping of incoming visitors to NAVSEA facilities. The estimated average respondent hourly wage has been increased due to wage inflation as well as a new method of determining the estimate which we believe more accurately reflect the average respondent. The average response time has been revised from 15 minutes to 5 minutes as this is a more accurate estimate of the burden. Finally, the addition of the NAVSEA 5510/9 to this request has increased the total burden.
