Abstract:
GSA’s Office of Shared Solutions and Performance Improvement (OSSPI) improves mission delivery and implementation of the Administration’s priorities by bringing the government together to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and shape effective policy. Working through its three functional areas of Executive Council management, Shared Services, and the President’s Management Agenda (PMA) team, OSSPI’s vision is to be a trusted partner delivering on the Administration priorities by unifying the government as one Federal enterprise. Since 2015, OSSPI (and its predecessor, the Office of Executive Councils) has managed a government-wide survey gauging satisfaction for mission-support services, covering those services provided by the Acquisition, Financial Management, SSC (Security, Suitability, and Credentialing ), and IT functions. This survey was initially part of the Benchmarking initiative, which was a Cross-Agency Priority Goal in the Obama administration (see OMB memorandum M-12-14, p. 8) and has continued by each subsequent administration with PMC consultation and input. The data collections envisioned by the collection will be designed to determine requirements and evaluate the usability and utility of specific research questions as part of GSA’s support for the President’s Management Council (PMC) and OMB’s management offices. These data collection efforts may include, but may not be limited to electronic methodologies, empirical studies, video and audio collections, interviews, and questionnaires. Each individual request under this umbrella collection will include information explaining the purpose, scope, and benefit(s) of each data collection request.
