This collection is approved based on the revised materials provided by the Department. DOD is directed to submit the draft report and a summary of the findings from the study to the Executive Office of the President (EOP) for review, prior to finalizing the report. The report and/or the findings should not be made public, published, or provided to Congress prior to EOP review and approval. The report must include a detailed description of the methodology used to conduct the study, including, but not limited to, the questions used in the focus groups and impromptu interviews, the number of military members and spouses by Service were interviewed, and the demographics of the participants.

Abstract:
The Military Community & Family Policy (MC&FP) within the DoD's Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense is requesting Office of Management and Budget clearance for Qualitative Data Collection on Enlisted Service Member Access to Food on or Near Military Installations. MCFP will collect qualitative data through interviews and/or focus groups with Enlisted Active Duty Service members and spouses of Enlisted Active Duty Service members to understand the eating and spending patterns of the Enlisted military.
