Abstract:
The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) is requesting a three-year renewal of a long running data collection series that collects production practice and chemical use data. Previous submissions included an economic component (Phase 3) that is being separated to another Information Collection Request to better accommodate changes requested by data users and policy makers.

Short Statement:
The increase in burden for non-response is due to the change in commodity mix and number of mailings being identified in the burden table. The decrease in burden in the responses was due to ARMS Phase 3 and Contractor Expense Surveys will now be under a separate Information Collection Request (ICR).
