Abstract:
The Commission is submitting a non-substantive change request to this delegated information collection. When the submission was made and approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on March 21, 2023, the Commission discovered that the OMB Control Number "3060-1081" was inadvertently included in the title of this collection as part of OMB's Active Inventory. Therefore, it has been removed and the correct title will be reflected in OMB's Active Inventory. This information collection requires telecommunications carriers to submit certain information when applying for designation as an eligible telecommunications carrier (ETC). This information collection is necessary to ensure that each ETC satisfies its obligation under Section 214(e) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, to provide services supported under the universal service support mechanism(s) throughout the areas for which each ETC is designated.
