Short Statement: OSHA is requesting an adjustment increase in the burden hours under this data collection from 240,924 to 263,172 hours, for a total increase of 22,878 hours. There was a net increase in the number of establishments from 86,320 to 86,575. The costs to conduct a medical examination increased from $246 to $259.12 and for contract industrial hygiene services to conduct exposure-monitoring sampling increased from $50.25 to $55.99. Total capital costs increased, from $46,843,874 to $54,153,624 an increase of $7,309,750. The increase is due to the estimated increase in the number of covered workers undergoing exposure monitoring and medical exams.
