Short Statement:
APHIS is seeking an extension, without change, of a currently approved information collection request. The currently approved burden for this request is 18 annual respondents, 210 total annual responses, and 54 total annual burden hours. This request for renewal is for 17 respondents, 259 estimated annual responses and 66 estimated annual burden hours, reflecting a decrease of 1 respondent, an increase of 49 estimated responses, and an increase of 12 hours of estimated burden from the previous renewal request. Adjustments to the Agency estimates include: •An increase in the number of responses and burden hours is attributed to an increase of businesses importing the Alfalfa leafcutter bee (Megachile rotundata) and bumblebees of the species (Bombus impatiens). •A decrease in the number of responses and burden hours of export certificates is because the importation of honeybees through Canada is not permitted.
Annual Cost to Federal Government:
$5,576
