This is a non-substantive change request for the Agricultural Surveys Program. NASS is wanting to implement Census program changes to the March Agricultural Survey. There is no changes in sample size, questionnaire content, or respondent burden as a result of this change.

Short Statement:
The increase in number of responses and burden is due to an extra June Area Survey (all three years 2024-2026). The previous burden was for 2021 and 2022 as the 2020 survey was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The increase in responses and burden was greater than the decrease in burden from the removal of the Agricultural Coverage Evaluation Survey (ACES) that will next be conducted in 2027.
