Short Statement: An increase of 153 burden hours is a change due to adjustment in agency estimates for a total of 583 hours. The number of funded TreasuryDirect accounts grew as a total from 645,000 in September 2020 to 3.9 million in September 2023. The influx of TreasuryDirect accounts, in particular entity business accounts, provides a growing need for sole proprietors and partnerships to use the FS Form 1010 in new accounts needing evidence (Resolutions) if the new account fails third party verification or was set up incorrectly by the account holder.
