Research, Education, and Extension project online reporting tool (REEport) is used to document programmatic, technical, and financial content for ongoing research, education, and extension activities in agriculture, food science, human nutrition, and forestry to meet the relevant regulatory reporting requirements for NIFA's competitive grant programs.

The total burden for this collection decreased by 10,485 hours (from 72,900 hours to 62,415 hours). This decrease reflects a drop in the number of respondents using REEport since NIFA now collects most information about capacity grants in the NIFA Reporting System (NRS). The number of respondents decreased because the previous submission triple-counted respondents.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
