Short Statement:
This final rulemaking is a complete rewrite of 30 CFR Part 250, subpart B and is requesting a total hour burden of 36,168, a program increase of 13,710 from current 1014-0024 burden hours due to new requirements being added. The current OMB inventory for 1014-0024 (30 CFR Part 250, subpart B – Plans and Information) information collection includes 22,458 burden hours; furthermore, we are in the middle of the renewal cycle. We are not making any changes to current 1014-0024 this cycle. Once this final rulemaking becomes effective, we will discontinue OMB control number 1014-0024. BSEE is requesting a total of $4,978,612 in non-hour costs burdens, a program increase of 4,946,221 from current 1014-0024 non-hour costs burdens. Once this final rulemaking becomes effective, we will discontinue OMB control number 1014-0024. The current OMB non-hour cost burden inventory for 1014-0024 is $32,391; furthermore, we are in the middle of the renewal cycle. We are not requesting any changes to current 1014-0024 this cycle. This final rulemaking is adding 13 new non-hour costs burdens as shown in 13(c).
