Abstract:
As a result of the current rail service problems impacting the network, the Board created emergency service regulations that allow for shippers to seek immediate relief from the Board in certain emergency service situations and allow for an accelerated process for acute service emergencies. In sum, this collection is intended to provide the opportunity for shippers to receive swift action, when warranted, to ensure that the nation’s freight rail traffic continues to move.
