Short Statement: represent the Department’s current decrease in HUD REO inventory, thus reducing GNND sales program activity. This current level of activity resulted in a decline in respondents, responses, and burden hours. This decline is due to the Foreclosure and Eviction Moratorium in connection with the Presidentially Declared COVID-19 National Emergency and the success of FHA’s Claims Without Conveyance of Title program. With each of the six HUD forms, the Public Burden Statement Contact Information for comments was added, Warning/Certification Language was Updated, and because Single Family will no longer collect purchaser Social Security Numbers (SSN) on the subject forms as the information is captured in a separate collection the SSN was deleted.
