Abstract:
Institutions participating in the Revolving Loan Programs will be collecting additional gender information from their applicants for the Annual Operating Report (AOR). Beginning with the reporting period of 7/1/2023- 6/30/2024, and all future reporting periods, schools must collect additional gender information from their applicants who participate in the HPSL, LDS, PCL, and NSL revolving loan programs. This change is required under Executive Order 14075 – Executive Order on Advancing Quality for Lesbian Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex individuals. Additionally, specifications for submission of the deferment form are being updated.

Short Statement:
Change Due to Adjustment in Agency Estimate. The Estimated Total Burden Hours percentage change from the current Notice of Action to the revised Estimated Total Burden Hours reflects an increase of 7.6%, which is a difference of 25,080 hours. This is because the prior package did not include the total burden hours associated with the Recordkeeping Requirements, totaling 25,080 burden hours. The initial amount of 327,979 total burden hours has been updated to 353,089 to account for these 25,080 Recordkeeping Requirements burden hours as well as the 30 burden hours related to the Administrative Hearings under the Reporting Requirements. The burden hour change is due to a Change Due to Adjustment in Agency Estimate.
