Short Statement: OSHA is requesting an adjustment increase of 109,152 burden hours (from 2,622,912 to 2,732,064 hours). This increase is due to an increase in the number of affected establishments going from 773,209 establishments to 806,890 establishments. Also, OSHA is requesting an adjustment increase of $72,331 in operation and maintenance costs (from $1,370,654 to $1,442,985) associated with the purchase of tags and ties by employers. This increase in capital cost is the result of an increase in the number of affected establishments.
