Abstract:
The goal of IMLS Inspire! Grants for Small Museums (IGSM) is to support projects that strengthen the ability of small museums to serve their community. This new initiative will specifically support small museums by funding relevant activities that are clearly linked to an individual institution’s organizational priorities and broader community needs. IMLS Inspire! Grants for Small Museums is being offered as a special initiative with funding from the Museums for America Program. In this clearance submission (3137-0111), IMLS requests a renewal clearance for the 2025-2027 IMLS Inspire! Grants for Small Museums initiative under the Paperwork Reduction Act. The information collection in this package consists of the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) with instructions necessary to apply for IMLS support as part of the agency’s grant programs.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
