Short Statement: This increase is due to the increase in use of Form ID-3u (internet) for job protection payments in the rail industry; the increased use of Form ID-3s-1 (paper & telephone), and improved tracking capabilities that allow the RRB to more accurately determine the number of annual responses. Due to improved tracking capabilities that allow the RRB to more accurately determine the number of annual responses there is a less reporting usage of Forms SI-1C and ID-30K.
