Abstract:
The goal of this generic information collection request is to enable CDC/NIOSH to assess the effectiveness of a sub-set of automated direct reading methodologies, sensors, and robotic technologies that are used to protect worker safety and health. NIOSH is often requested to assess and study the performance, safety, and worker interactions with new or updated technologies. These studies will primarily occur in NIOSH laboratory settings including contracted settings and virtual reality simulated space.
