Abstract:
In 1997 the Commission adopted rules providing support for the Universal Service Schools and Libraries Support Mechanism (E-rate Program). FCC Forms 470 and 471 are required to describe the services requested and ordered by schools and libraries under the program.

Short Statement:
The Commission is reporting an adjustment to the number of respondents, total annual responses, and the total annual hours requested within this submission. The total annual hours requested for the requirements contained herein is now 236,890, which is a decrease of -37,060 total annual hours requested. The number of respondents decreased to 25,000 and the number of responses increased to +16,460. The adjustment is due to updated information based on actual USAC FY 2023 submission of the FCC Forms 470 and 471. There are no program changes.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
