Abstract:
Information is collected from visitors of public lands and community members near public lands. Information gathered from visitors and local community residents is used to inform planning decisions in support of BLM’s Planning for Recreation and Visitor Services Handbook H-8320-1. This request is for the OMB to renew this OMB control number of additional three (3) years.

The BLM request an adjustment of -150 responses (from 7,380 to 7,230) and -47 burden hours (from 2,093 to 2,046). The change in burden results from the BLM updating the burden estimates based on its experience of administering this study over the last three years.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
