Short Statement: The information collection requirements for the 2022 CGP are covered by the approved 2022 CGP ICR (EPA ICR number 2686.02, OMB control number 2040-NEW). The NPDES Program ICR estimates the information collection burden for construction stormwater general permits overall, which include both state-administered permits and the EPA-issued CGP. As such, this 2022 CGP ICR estimates the incremental change in burden due to new and modified permit requirements, and has been updated with the first three years of NOI data from the 2022 CGP. EPA estimates that the incremental change in burden for the 2022 CGP is the following: There will be an increase in the respondent annual time burden by 45,367 hours and an increase in the number of annual responses by 132,854. The increase in burden and annual responses is due to the new dewatering inspection requirements and turbidity benchmark monitoring requirements, and 2022 CGP NOI data.
