Short Statement: The burden changes would be a result of the proposed rule which adds, removes, and revises information collection requirements with the overall intent to streamline regulatory requirements and unleash domestic energy resources. Additionally, the burden for several ICs is adjusted to more accurately reflect the burden for those activities. Item 15 of the accompanying Supporting Statement document provide a detailed discussion of these changes.
