Short Statement: Burden changes are due in part to a new statute and in part to adjustments in agency estimates. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act required increases in filing fees associated with the Form EOIR-42A and EOIR-42B. The time burden changed due to an observed decrease in the average number of responses received annually.
