Short Statement:
This is a revision of a currently approved information collection request. FSA is conducting this revision as part of a larger Departmental process related to Executive Order 14058, that directed the Secretary of Agriculture to simplify the direct loan application process. In doing so, this collection was also affected. The current burden inventory is 103,894 estimated annual respondents: 103,894 estimated annual responses and 33,012 estimated annual burden hours. With this revision the agency is seeking 105,135 estimated annual respondents, 109,568 estimated annual responses and 36,275 estimated annual burden hours. This reflects an increase in the number of estimated respondents 1,241, increase in the estimated number of responses 5,674 and an increase in the number of estimated annual burden hours 3,263 since the last OMB submission. The increase in burden is attributed to both program changes and adjustments. Program Changes: - Additional completion time for new forms that enhance the program objectives. Adjustments -Overall estimated increase in total future usage of the forms based on the number of active borrowers as of December 31, 2025.
Annual Cost to Federal Government:
$39,167,480
