Short Statement:
OSHA is requesting an adjustment decrease of 62 hours in burden going from 1,038 to 976 hours. This decrease is due to a reduction in the number of affected shipyards going from 515 to 489. Also, there was a decrease in the operation and maintenance cost for exposure monitoring and medical examinations. The agency is requesting a decrease in cost by $1,780 going from $34,639 to $32,859. This decrease is due to a decrease in the number of shipyard employees monitored and receiving medical examinations.
