Short Statement: This is a revision of a currently approved data collection. This collection is currently approved with 3,499 respondents, 88,407 responses, and 13,325 burden hours. For this renewal, FNS has determined that fewer State Agencies and School Food Authorities are participating in the Special Milk Program. The State Agencies decreased by 11 respondents, from 54 to 43. The School Food Authorities decreased by 1,972 respondents, from 3,155 to 1,183. For the non-profit Child Care Institutions, the number participating in the program increased by 31 respondents, from 290 to 321. This estimated increase, however, does not offset the decreases in the number of respondents. Due to these changes, FNS estimates that the burden will decrease by 1,952 respondents, 33,862 responses, and 8,206 burden hours due to an adjustment. With this revision, FNS estimates that this collection will have 1,547 respondents, 54,545 responses, and 5,119 burden hours.
