Short Statement: There were no changes made to the forms that resulted in any change to the burden previously reported to OMB. However, the IRS updated the number of responses based on current filing data (including the online enrollment data). This increases the estimated annual responses to 1,694,075 (an increase of 222,117 from the previously approved 1,471,958). The change in estimated responses results in an overall hourly burden increase of 1,880,338 and current burden estimate is 4,019,260 hours as the previously approved was 2,138,922 hours, annual cost burden of $486,973,565 added to ICR summary of burden to reflect cost.
