Short Statement: This request reflects an approximately 30% increase in the estimated number of annual recurrent burden hours for each collection since OMB last authorized the information collections in 2023. The increases are not due to a programmatic change, but an increase in the number of consumer complaints that carriers reported receiving and processing since DOT’s last request.
