Short Statement: There are no program changes. The differences in burden estimates from the prior clearance reflect updates in the estimated number of funerals (based on newer data on the number of deaths in the U.S.) and a decrease in the estimated number of covered funeral providers (based on updated data on the National Funeral Directors Association website).
