Short Statement: EIA will discontinue Form EIA-63B, Photovoltaic Module Shipments Report (Annual and Monthly). EIA determined that the value of the data collected by the survey no longer exceeds the burden of collecting and publishing it. This change is projected to reduce the reporting burden on the industry. Specifically, discontinuing the monthly survey will relieve approximately 120 annual respondents and save an estimated 314 annual burden hours, while discontinuing the annual survey will impact 26 fewer respondents and reduce burden hours by 48 annually.
