Abstract:
This request is for extension of a current information collection. Established by the 1982 Convention, the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) employs an ecosystem-based approach to protect and conserve Antarctic marine life. This framework ensures the preservation of individual species and the broader ecosystem while balancing responsible resource harvesting with the maintenance of vital ecological relationships.

Short Statement:
The number of dealers has decreased but each dealer now submits more responses. The overall number of responses has decreased as a result of fewer imports. Math calculations for the Re-export of Toothfish were corrected from the previous submission. Costs decreased overall due to previous submissions failing to annualize the VMS costs and fewer import/export applications, although postage costs increased.
Annual Cost to Federal Government:
$152,642
