Retrieve Notice of Action (NOA) 05/15/2024
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) usage of SF 299 shall be mandatory for all proposed non-recreation outgrant requests, i.e., those involving transportation, utility, and/or telecommunication activities (including, but not limited to cross-country utilities, pipelines, roadways that cross projects, and public water intakes) on federal lands. This mandatory use is consistent with our sister agencies already using the form as initiated by the White House Office of Science and Technology. The use of the Standard Form supports the American Broadband Initiative and will enable applicants to provide consistent, necessary information to review Outgrants proposed under Chapter 17 of ER 1130-2-550, Non-Recreational Outgrant Policy.

There is no change in burden since the last time USACE submitted a Request for Common Form for this OMB Control Number. However, the burden is showing as a change because the OMB Control Number expired and was reinstated by the Host Agency.
