Title: Matching Requirements for Formula Funds at the 1890 Land-Grant Institutions and at the 1862 Land-Grant Institutions in the District of Columbia and the Insular Areas 
Abstract: Passage of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008, Sections 7404 and 7417; and the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002, Sections 7212 and 7213; has changed the matching requirements for the 1890 Land-Grant Institutions and the 1862 Land-Grant Institutions in the District of Columbia and the insular areas. Issues regarding the use of matching funds, sources of matching funds, and matching waivers for the 1890 Land-Grant Institutions and the 1862 Land-Grant Institutions in the District of Columbia and the insular areas need to be clarified.
