| Abstract: The Farm Service Agency (FSA) is requesting comments regarding the appropriateness of the current method of calculating Production Flexibility Contract (PFC) payment reductions resulting from planting violations. Comments will be requested on (1) the appropriateness of the current method of calculating PFC payments reductions as a result of fruit or vegetable planting violations, (2) alternative methods for calculating the payment reductions, (3) retroactivity of any change in the method, and (4) the effect of a change on PFC's that have been terminated, or for which contract acreage was reduced, because of the current method of calculation. This action is not expected to have any significant cost. | |
