| Title: Environmental Compliance and Related Concerns | |
| Abstract: This action would provide the Farm Service Agency (FSA) with an environmental compliance regulation that improves and clarifies its requirements to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act; the National Historic Preservation Act; and numerous other environmental and cultural resource laws, regulations, and Executive orders. It would also make the regulation consistent for the Farm Loan Programs and Farm Programs. Also, it would remove outdated regulations used by FSA from chapter XVIII of the Code of Federal Regulations, formerly used by the predecessor to FSA, the Farmers Home Administration. | |
