Title: Rural Business Loan Streamlining 
Abstract: This initiative will create a complete new set of regulations for the program of loan guarantees for rural businesses known as the Business and Industry Program. The purpose is to streamline both the regulations and the program. The new regulations will be much shorter than the previous regulations for the program and will be better organized and clearer. Program procedures and requirements will be more flexible, applications will be simpler, and more reliance will be placed on the commercial lender.
